Simão é fotógrafo e casado com Catarina, mas se apaixona pela atriz judia Renée com quem viaja a Jerusalém. Lá, ele acaba registrando um atentado terrorista frustrado, que o faz mundialmente famoso. No entanto, surgem críticas negativas por ele ter fotografado em vez de tentar evitar a tragédia.

Simão is a photographer and married to Catarina, but he falls in love with the Jewish actress Renée, with whom he travels to Jerusalem. There, he ends up recording a failed terrorist attack, which makes him world famous. However, negative criticism arises for having photographed instead of trying to prevent the tragedy.
